I love Sunday mornings. It's like the calm after the storm. Saturday is so full of fun, food, friends and fluff. Then there's Sunday, usually spent recovering from Saturday and chillaxin' before the Monday routine. This morning I woke up early-ish. The glorious sun, the insanely blue skies, the fantabulous weather. It's rejuvenating. Yoga? Nah. Maybe if I had woken up earlier. I made myself an iced coffee and thought about brunch. Should I experiment with gourmet pancakes in the kitchen, grab a chocolate chip banana muffin from the coffee shop downstairs or finally try that french toast that I've been eyeing, like forever, at Walton's? Instead I had a 30 minute phone conversation with one of my besties, Hai. Yeah, it's a peaceful and uneventful morning. But I love it. I don't get enough of these kind of Sunday mornings! The past 6-7 years, my weekends were usually spent traveling abroad, working my little heart out or catching up on errands/hobbies. Sundays felt more like Saturdays back then! So doing absolutely nothing is a welcomed change.
Morning's about to end. You know, I was suppose to be in Houston this weekend? 2 of my photoshoots got cancelled there. But that's a-okay. It was nice meditating and taking it all in for a bit. Time to meet up with Jan and Kristine. Baby shower duties call!
